See every clip before you open it
Hover over any video and its thumbnail springs to life, crossfading through short preview clips pulled from across the whole video, so you know what it is without opening it. Videos show as a 16:9 card grid or a detailed list view, each with a duration badge, and the size slider scales them to taste.
A player built for your library
A clean, built-in player with everything you’d expect: click or press space to play, drag the scrub bar to seek, and hover the timeline to preview the exact frame you’re aiming for. Change the playback speed, pop out into picture-in-picture, or go fullscreen. It even remembers where you left off, so a long video is always ready to resume.
Pin a note to any moment
While a video plays, jot a note and pin it to the exact moment on the timeline. Your pinned notes appear as markers along the scrub bar and as clickable chips in the notes panel, and tapping either jumps the video straight back to that second. Perfect for bookmarking a favorite scene, a step in a recipe, or the exact moment something happens.
Plays the formats other apps choke on
WMV, AVI, MKV and other awkward formats usually mean hunting down a codec pack or a separate player. Loshelf just handles them. It converts them for playback automatically in the background, or, if you prefer, opens them straight in your system’s default player. Either way, you keep browsing.
Find the right clip in seconds
Filter your videos by duration and resolution, sort the longest to the top, or search by name, description or note text. Add tags, ratings, favorites and symbols just like your photos, so your whole collection stays organized and easy to search.
